Each Sunday we spend time together growing the Word. Fresh popcorn and other refreshments are provided. For an hour, we enjoy open discussion about various topics, presented and discussed in a welcoming, informal, and comfortable format.

The Council of Nicea and It's Creed - A 1,700-Year History
Throughout its 1700-year history, the Nicene Creed has helped Christians keep our eyes focused on the truths that Scripture reveals about God who created us, redeemed us, and sanctified us in the one true faith. This study isn’t merely a history lesson—it’s immensely practical. It explains why what happened in history is so vital to the correct understanding of God’s message of salvation and covers real-world questions and topics such as: Why it is so important that our Savior is truly God and truly human? What is the magisterial versus ministerial use of reason? How church structure developed (which could lessen the “We/They” tension that sometimes exists) And many more!

Christlight for Kids every Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
This is a fun learning time for children preschool through 6th grade. Each week children learn a different story that shows them God’s love and wisdom. Here’s what’s coming this month:
Adult Bible Information Class
This is an adult level class on the basic teachings of the Christian faith led in an informal and user-friendly way. There is no obligation for membership, although this is the course that prepares people for membership in Ascension Lutheran Church. All materials are free of charge. Interested?
