We’re a new Christian preschool in Macomb Township. We know it might be a difficult decision to entrust your child’s preschool experience to a new program. We’d like to make that decision a little easier by offering affordable tuition options.
PROGRAM OPTIONS
We offer 3, 4, and 5 day options for both our full day and half day programs.
Full Day Program: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Half Day Program: 8:30 am - 11:30 am
REQUIREMENTS
-All children must be 3 years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year.
-All children must be fully potty-trained.

Philosophy
God has given parents the primary responsibility for training their children. Ascension Lutheran Preschool exists to assist parents in their God-given task to train their child to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Our Christian preschool educators seek to meet the needs of the children spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally in a manner that is developmentally appropriate.

In Faith...
Children learn of their Savior and his great love for them as it is integrated throughout the day, through Bible stories and songs, and in their interactions with their teachers and each other.
In Social & Emotional Skills...
Social and emotional skills are an important part of the foundation every child needs for learning and growth. Children build confidence, focus, self-control, perspective-taking, and communication skills through daily interactions, a consistent routine, and gentle, consistent guidance. The Christian environment at Ascension also creates an atmosphere that fosters helpfulness, generosity, and compassion.
In Academics...
Children engage in a variety of hands-on, active learning experiences every day. Our teachers and volunteers guide learning by facilitating children’s discoveries, experiences and questions. Learning activities are planned based on the HighScope Curriculum and are designed to foster pre-reading and writing skills, mathematics, social studies, science and more!
